Hired to help implement a radical idea using Facebook as a medium to acquire extremely high quality applicants. Our hypothesis was that we could get qualified candidates cheaper on Facebook than platforms like LinkedIn, Monster, Indeed, or the many other types of local job boards that exist. The idea was to turn Facebook into a recruiting engine – which we did – for the company’s global recruitment needs! The reasoning behind utilizing Facebook was that it had 1.79 billion monthly active users at the time we started this project for Crossover.
We were able to reduce the cost-per-acquisition (CPA) by 75% after a little less than four months of running campaigns. This resulted in net savings in the hundreds of thousands in terms of recruitment costs.
